I enjoy taking pictures of the stars but they're difficult to capture on Long Island. This is a 2 minute exposure on a moon lit sky over at Robert Moses State Park. The aperture was open long enough for light to come in and reveal the scenery to the camera's sensor but also revealed the starts track across the sky in those 2 minutes. I have experimented with 30 min exposures and 1 hour long exposures, you get some interesting results and stars seem to be circling around. For this shot I used a 50mm f/1.8 lens with my ISO at 400. I definitely will keep experimenting this coming winter once skys clear out.
